One core idea, two distinct paths
Commercial: A proposed B2B2C home and yard security offering through insurance carriers, using edge processing with cloud support. A $250/year HaaS offering is a target, not a current price.
Government: A separate development concept for remote or temporary perimeters, proposing isolated site data, encrypted communications, operator stop and no physical force. It has not been deployed or awarded. 72 hours unattended operation is a test target, not achieved endurance.
Where development stands
Four prototypes are flying; two operational U.S. units are FAA registered and undergoing supervised Part 107 testing. In September 2026 an end-to-end sequence of detection, flight, handoff and non-contact deterrence was demonstrated. TOF sensors are live for 3D obstacle reading, and the mobile app includes live feed, geofencing and missions. Precision landing and return-to-dock are in testing. Current units use off-the-shelf hardware.
What comes next
Proprietary hardware and software design and a U.S. production line are future aims. Optisoftis plans a 100-drone field program in 2027; neither the field program nor the production line has been delivered. Provisional patent application #64/044,182 for a dual-purpose induction coil was filed in April 2026.
